# AI Dispatcher: from offer to reviewed assignment

RunaboutX's AI Dispatcher is intended to help a carrier team move from incoming load information to a reviewed assignment. RunaboutX is available to fleets. The public demo shows one workflow; confirm the supported intake and assignment steps with your own load.

## The workflow

A rate confirmation arrives as an email or document. The agent concept reads pickup, delivery, timing, rate, and reference details, then prepares a load for review. A dispatcher checks missing or conflicting fields, considers equipment and driver availability, and approves the assignment. The confirmed information should stay attached to the load record for tracking and billing.

For example, a confirmation lists a pickup window but omits the appointment number. A useful assistant flags the missing number and leaves the load in review instead of presenting it as dispatch ready.

## What to test in a demo

Bring a redacted rate confirmation with an unusual stop or accessorial. Ask to see the extracted fields, source document, correction flow, and approval history. Then ask what can be automated today and what needs your existing systems. The [rate confirmation to load entry guide](/resources/learn/rate-confirmation-to-load-entry/) gives a field-by-field checklist. Explore the wider [AI TMS](/ai-tms/) or [book a demo](/#contact).

## Fleet feedback

During its October 1–14, 2026 pilot, a California trucking fleet reported more efficient dispatchers and fewer repetitive follow-ups and manual tasks. [Read the approved pilot testimonial](/resources/case-studies/fleet-pilot/) and use the [dispatcher workload guide](/resources/learn/reduce-dispatcher-workload/) to establish your own baseline.
