# TMS for North American Fleets

RunaboutX is an **AI-native TMS available to North American trucking fleets** and their operations teams. Bring your US or Canadian carrier workflow to a demo: the loads you run, the people responsible for each handoff, and the systems your team uses today.

## A California fleet's experience

A California trucking fleet used RunaboutX during a 14-day pilot from October 1–14, 2026. The fleet reported more efficient dispatchers, fewer repetitive follow-ups and manual tasks, less stressful daily operations, and a smoother customer experience. [Read the fleet's approved testimonial](/resources/case-studies/fleet-pilot/) for the full feedback and pilot context.

That experience is a useful starting point for your own evaluation. Choose one recurring bottleneck and measure the work your team performs before and during a trial with representative loads.

## One load, several teams

A carrier's load moves across dispatch, tracking, delivery documents, billing, and driver settlement. Evaluate those handoffs together so a change stays visible to the next person responsible.

- **Dispatchers:** Compare the source document with the load fields and review an assignment. Explore [AI Dispatcher](/features/ai-dispatcher/).
- **Tracking and operations:** Inspect update timestamps, changed appointments, and exception ownership. Explore [AI Tracking](/features/ai-tracking/) and [exception management](/features/exception-management/).
- **Billing:** Check the POD, approved accessorials, and invoice handoff. Explore [AI Billing](/features/ai-billing/).
- **Settlement reviewers:** Reconcile completed loads, pay rules, and adjustments. Explore [driver settlements](/features/driver-settlements/).

Use the public workflow examples to decide what to evaluate. Bring your own case to confirm the available steps, controls, and data connections. The [AI TMS page](/ai-tms/) connects these questions to the product.

## Test your North American operating requirements

For a US fleet, start with the source of ELD information, appointment times, document collection, and the accounting handoff your dispatcher and finance team actually use. For a Canadian or cross-border fleet, add the relevant ELD configuration, border-document responsibilities, time zones, and billing and settlement currencies.

Use the [North American TMS checklist](/resources/guides/north-american-tms/) to test those requirements against the demonstrated product. It links to US and Canadian government guidance where relevant. Regional fit, specific integrations, and regulatory obligations depend on your lanes and systems; confirm each requirement during evaluation.

## Prepare for onboarding

Bring your fleet size, equipment, lanes, current software, and the roles involved in one complete load. Agree the data to import, the person responsible for each handoff, training needs, and a readiness checklist. Confirm your implementation timetable, support arrangements, and pricing with the team.

The [migration checklist](/resources/guides/tms-migration-checklist/) helps prepare your data and cutover questions. The [RFP checklist](/resources/guides/tms-rfp-checklist/) gives you a consistent way to compare vendor commitments. [Book a demo](/#contact) to discuss your fleet.
