About RunaboutX

Learn what RunaboutX is, who it serves, and how the public trucking TMS workflows and fleet resources are documented.

RunaboutX is an AI-native transportation management system (TMS) for trucking fleet owners and operations teams in the United States and Canada. Runabout is the short name for RunaboutX; Runabout TMS refers to the same product. RunaboutX is available to fleets.

Start with one load

A load connects the customer, driver, truck, appointments, documents and financial handoffs. RunaboutX's public examples follow that work from intake and dispatch through tracking, delivery, billing and driver-settlement review. The focus is the work between those handoffs and the context a person needs to make a decision.

The AI TMS overview explains the product positioning. The feature library describes each public workflow, including human review and the questions to resolve before onboarding. Illustrative diagrams and interactions are identified as examples; they are not product screenshots or records from a live fleet.

For US and Canadian carrier teams

RunaboutX serves fleet owners, dispatchers and operations teams evaluating their load workflow. The carrier page covers those roles, while the North American TMS checklist helps structure US and Canadian evaluation questions.

Customer feedback and product direction

A California fleet supplied approved qualitative feedback about its October 1–14, 2026 pilot. Read the full pilot story with its dates and attribution. The feedback does not supply measured percentage savings or a guaranteed outcome for another fleet.

The vision page describes long-term product direction. Future logistics ambitions are distinct from the available product and should be discussed separately during evaluation.

Who publishes these resources?

The resource library is published by RunaboutX. Articles identify the organization responsible for the content and show review and update dates. Worked examples are hypothetical unless explicitly attributed to a customer. Government references link to the relevant source; readers should verify requirements for their own operation.
